2022 Bride's Blush Rose
Our rosé is versatile for all occasions. We love to share this with friends at brunch, it is a perfect wine for an apéritif for the holidays.
Our Syrah and Grenache block is planted on a North Facing Slope with deep gravely loam soils. The Syrah is an Estrella Clone and takes up a majority of the vineyard, the Grenache is in a smaller block where there is higher levels of clay.
This is a bright, light bodied wine. It is refreshing and made to enjoy for all. As you swirl this luminous, pale pink wine in your glass the fruits will begin to show, notes of strawberry custard, melon and rose water are inviting you to your first sip. Flavors of white cherry, cucumber with a touch of candied ginger on the finish
2022 will be remembered as a modest but outstanding vintage. We had many obstacles that challenged us, mainly the drought and water conservation. The result for us was smaller concentrated berries. We were all about creating depth in this delicate style of a Rosé. We blended 85 percent Grenache with 15 percent Syrah. The juice was fermented cold to promote a more aromatic style. I then fermented in stainless steel then racked to neutral French oak barrels.
