Vineyard Notes
Grandview Vineyard is 4.8 acres which is home to our 3 Sauvignon Blanc Clones. 2021 will be remembered as an outstanding vintage. Although a light year for crop yields, due to the drought and water conservation efforts these challenges however benefited our fruit quality. The lighter cluster weight with smaller berry sizes led to concentrated flavors and color in our wines.

Tasting Notes
The nose is elegant with notes of guava, honeydew melon, citrus blossoms and verbena, the palate is textured and has lively acids, flavors of lemon cream and cardamom round out the long finish.

Winemaker Notes
Stylistically this is not your typical Sauvignon Blanc we wanted to create a well-balanced wine that showcased not only the fruit of our Russian River
Valley estate but a wine that creates a different approach for a Sauvignon Blanc.
Production Notes
Production Notes
We began with whole clusters pressed to tank and cold settled overnight. We then racked the heavy solids to tank and neutral barrels. Barrel fermentations were 100% indigenous and allowed to go through partial ML while stirred weekly to intensify texture and mouthfeel. We kept the tank fermented wine at 60 degrees to promote a crisp aromatic style.
